Dan is a 40 year old male with a primary symptom of chronic extreme diarrhea.

She explains her two-part evaluation:

💠 Ayurvedic Assessment - learning the best foods and lifestyle practices for his dosha

💠 Biofeedback Testing - to look at gut bacteria and where his imbalances might be

Sam’s Case Study, Age 62 ⤵️

Chief Complaints: Body temperature hot all the time. Sleeps in separate bedroom with windows open at night. Sleep quality poor. Frequent body rashes and skin irritations.

Determined Imbalances: running hot, out of Ayurvedic balance

Protocol Completed: Cut down significantly on caffeine. Was consuming more than he realized (using caffeine to boost daily workouts). Added in cooling Ayurvedic tonic to regulate body temperature.

Outcome: Better sleep within a few days. Body temperature is slowly becoming normal. He is following a tapered plan for caffeine reduction to minimize withdrawal symptoms.

Ayurveda teaches us to live and accept our bodies. 🙏

It’s important to understand your body type, know how to come into balance, and to have realistic expectations of what your body can look like after personal training.

At a certain age if you are not building muscle, you are losing it. And, it’s important to know the best way your body will be at its healthiest.

What body type are you? And more importantly, do you know how to work within your Dosha?

I was worried about the wind forecast, but it was lovely and warm! This may have been our last high altitude hike and we took full advantage of it!

The Mountain Belles NEW SESSION ⤵️

Session Nine: November - April

We have two group hikes per month. Session Nine begins November 8th and runs for six months through April 26th. I have researched, planned and hiked every single trail prior to the group hike. Hike location is (mostly) the Front Range. Trail length will vary between 3-8 miles and each hike is chosen for its breathtaking scenery.

The first hike of each month is beginner friendly, usually the second Saturday. The second hike of the month is intermediate. During the winter, the beginner hike will stay in Boulder County so that snowshoes are not as necessary. The intermediate group will travel up to an hour away from Longmont because we are looking for more challenge and adventure.

*The full membership gives you access to both hikes. If you choose to buy a package of six or three hikes, you can mix/match between days, depending on your schedule and level of adventure.

This is a fun, safe way to experience the Colorado Wilderness. We would love for you to come hike with us! I can’t wait to see you on the trail!

Feeling a little spooky with my buddy! 🎃

Let the trick-or-treating festivities begin! 🥷🦸‍♀️🧝‍♀️🧟‍♂️

I’ll spare you the nutrition and health talks today. If you do the healthy thing 80% of the time, you should be able to go off course and indulge in holiday treats without the guilt. Guilt and worry not only takes away the joy, but can actually be doing you more harm than the treat. Mindset matters! 😉🧌
