Nextera is a monthly membership program providing 24/7 advanced primary care with unlimited in office and virtual visits. 2025 is our 16th year since inception and we ❤️ providing unparalleled access and extraordinary care to our members. Nextera Healthcare, Colorado's first Direct Primary Care provider, is a new framework for delivering primary care services that gives patients greater access to

physicians, more one-on-one time with caregivers and, in turn, nets better health outcomes. Structured on a set low-cost, affordable monthly membership model, we provide 24/7 primary and urgent care with unrestricted visits and no copays, Nextera Healthcare providers offer a wide range of adult and family primary care services, including but not limited to:
• Acute care and chronic disease management
• Allergy testing and treatment
• Dermatology
• Mental health, including treatment for depression, anxiety and other mood disorders
• School, sports and workplace physicals
• Sleep hygiene assessments and support
• Stress management
• Treatment of sprains, lacerations and broken bones
• Weight management and health risk assessment
• Women’s health
• Well checks for infants and children
• Preventive health care
• Same-day appointments or next-day appointments based on medical need.

Feeling dizzy, nauseous, or overheated? It could be more serious than you think. Learn how to spot the difference between heat exhaustion and heat stroke—and what to do in each situation. It could save a life this summer.

For hot days, remember to:

✔️ Know the signs of both heat exhaustion and heat stroke

Big News for Direct Primary Care and Health Savings Accounts!

The recently signed H.R. 1 (“One Big Beautiful Bill Act”) brings important changes that make Direct Primary Care (DPC) more accessible and compatible with Health Savings Accounts (HSAs).

Here’s what you need to know:

✅ HSA Eligibility: Under the new law, DPC arrangements with monthly fees of $150 or less ($300 for joint filers) are no longer considered disqualifying coverage.

✅ Enhanced Access to Care: DPC patients enjoy more time with their doctor, same- or next-day appointments, and direct communication—all for one predictable monthly fee.

✅ Broader Recognition: Organizations such as the American Benefits Council see this as a first step in acknowledging the potential of care delivery reforms.

This is an exciting step forward in recognizing the value of innovative care models like Direct Primary Care. This change empowers individuals to embrace a more proactive, affordable primary care model while still leveraging the tax advantages of HSAs.
