The City of Longmont Recreation Services offers a wide range of fitness and wellness programs including water fitness and aerobic classes, land fitness and aerobic classes, yoga classes, Taste of Therapy Wellness Fairs, personal training, and fitness assessments. Union Reservoir will be closed at 6pm on Wednesday, October 15 due to an All Staff Meeting. All watercraft will be required to be off the water by 5:30pm.
Union Reservoir will resume regular October closing time of 8pm on Thursday, October 16.

Beginning today, Oct. 13, through mid-April 2026, no-fee park shelter reservations are only required for gatherings lasting more than 2 hours or if you are hosting a special event. Shelters which require a key for access are not available for use during the winter months. To reserve a shelter during the off season, call 303-774-4364.

Union Reservoir will be closed until 1pm on Sunday, September 21st for the Oktoberfest Sprint Triathlon. General public looking to recreate at the reservoir will not be able to enter until after 1pm. County Road 26 will be closed for this event and E County Line Rd (Weld CR 1) access will be effected.
