The Bloomin’ Yogi is a 🦋Trauma-Informed/Growth-Encouraged Studio offering group and private yoga sessions.Honoring the mind, body, soul connection.All are welcome here. Hi my name is Jessica, I have been a practicing LMT here in Longview Texas since 2006. I offer a range of modalities including Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Trigger Point Therapy. I am certified in Manual Lymphatic drainage as well as the Bellanina Facelift Massage and ACE Medicupping vacuum Therapy. November 2022 I received my 200 HR trauma informed Yoga Teacher certification and began teaching independently Oct 2023, soon after the Bloomin Yogi, Yoga and Wellness Studio was fostered and created. Thursday Thrive 🦅 Flow Where You Are

🦅 Eagle Pose builds strength through stability and creates space where we tend to hold tension. (Upper back Hips)
🦅 A powerful balance of opening, focusing, and grounding.

🦅 Benefits:
• Opens the upper back, shoulders & traps
• Releases tension in the chest and neck
• Strengthens legs, ankles, outer hips & glutes
• Improves balance, stability & postural awareness
• Increases mobility in the shoulders, hips, ankles & knees
• Activates deep core and pelvic floor muscles
• Supports calm, steady focus
🦅 How do we get into this pose?
Beginning with the top part of the body we bring the arms out to a T, reaching in opposite directions through the fingertips. Bring one arm around the front of the body, crossing under the opposite arm, intertwining through the forearms, bring the palms together.  The gaze is right in front of us. If space is there, you can take the elbows towards the sky, allowing for more openness along the backside of the body. 
Staying right here, enjoying this stretch or we can add in the lower part of the body as well. 
🦅 Grounding down through both feet, begin to bend through the left leg, crossing the right leg on top of the left thigh , moving the foot back to tuck in behind the calve. Sink down as far as your hips will allow. Breathe! Enjoy!

🌳 Grounding down through both feet, activate through your core, bring your knee to your chest. Allow the knee to open up to the side, planting the foot on the inside of the opposite leg, wherever it lands is fine!
Allow your hands to reach High to the Sky, rest at the heart 🙏 or find balance out to your side. It’s your tree! You grow it anyway you would like.
