Do not let people scam/hack you on Cash App... Cash App does not need email to send money. Cash App uses a unique payment ID, also known as the "$Cashtag", to identify the recipient of the payment. When you send money to someone through Cash App, you simply need to enter the recipient’s $Cashtag or their phone number.
Phone Number: If the recipient has a verified Cash App account and you have their phone number, you can send money directly using that number.
$Cashtag: You can also use the recipient’s $Cashtag to send money. This unique code is a part of the recipient’s Cash App account and is required for making and receiving payments.
No Email Required: Cash App does not require an email address to send money.
The use of email addresses can be used for other purposes, such as account verification, customer support, and security updates. Through the email and account verification, a person can hack your cash app, and gain access to any bank account you have linked to the app.
