Hey, pALS! ❤️🤍💙 We have a huge need approaching. Ben will be receiving his custom wheelchair in September, and we are going to need a way to transport it. It weights 385 lbs by itself and is not recommended for transportation on Jordan’s cargo hitch due to its many electrical capabilities and general wear and tear in the elements.

👨🏼‍🦼We need an accessible van that will accommodate all 5 of us, so that we can continue traveling, going to the girls sporting events, and the many things we do together as a family. While we know this is a huge ask, we are confident that his needs will be met.

Today is the day!

To put things in perspective, Ben can’t lift our one year old neice. He can hardly hold a cup and most of the time bends over to use a straw without holding it. He can’t cut his food and needs help at the end of a meal, because his arms are tired.

But do you see that smile on his face? He’s still cracking jokes, and he still has the best laugh. He doesn’t go a single day without stopping to take the day in fully and love on his girls. He is filled with a joy that only God can give him.

It doesn’t mean he doesn’t have bad days, but it means he’s never alone. It means he’s not dwelling on things that don’t matter. It means he’s living like we all should.

We are still overwhelmed by the volunteers, players, donations, and support we received during the 1st Annual Ben’s pALS Golf Tournament ⛳️ Pinecrest Country Club was the perfect partner for this event, and we look forward to next year! 🏌🏽‍♂️

We are home and still taking in a really awesome day. We cannot say thank you enough to everyone who volunteered, played golf, and so generously supported Ben today. We are overwhelmed by the turnout and participation of the 1st Annual Ben’s pALS Golf Tournament .
PS the hats were delivered when we got home. 🙃
