Jim brings both heart and experience to his role at Rader Funeral Homes. Originally from Roswell, New Mexico, Jim spent 22 years in full-time Christian ministry before transitioning into funeral preplanning—where he’s spent the last 16+ years guiding families with compassion and care.

A graduate of Pacific Coast Baptist Bible College with a degree in Church Music, Jim still finds joy in faith and fellowship. He and his wife of 38 years, Renee, live in East Texas and attend Grace Community Church in Tyler. Together, they’ve raised three wonderful children—Laura, James, and Daniel—and are proud grandparents to Matthew and Wyatt.

When he’s not helping families prepare for the future, you can find Jim on the golf course, casting a line, enjoying the outdoors, or cooking for loved ones.

We’re thankful to have Jim on our team, serving with purpose, faith, and kindness every step of the way.
