While honey is a tasty treat that may soothe cough and sore throat, it does not cure pollen allergies. Here’s why:

-Bees 🐝 collect pollen and nectar from flowers 🌺. This pollen is heavy and does not travel in the air.
-Pollen that causes allergy symptoms is usually from trees 🌲, grasses 🌾, and weeds 🌿. This pollen is light, travels through the air 💨, and is easily breathed in 🤧.
-The actual pollen allergens don’t make it into honey because wind-pollinated plants don’t rely on bees.

Drinking honey, may give short term relief, but does not prevent future symptoms. What DOES reliably help is immunotherapy provided by the board-certified experts . Call 903-757-3808 to get to the bottom of your allergies.

Did you know there’s a right way to blow your nose? Mastering this technique can help prevent sinus pain, infections, and irritation! Here’s how:

1️⃣ Close one nostril with gentle pressure.
2️⃣ Blow gently through the open nostril.
3️⃣ Repeat on the other side.

🚫 Avoid blowing too hard! It can force mucus into your sinuses or Eustachian tubes, leading to sinus infections, ear infections, or even nosebleeds.

Follow this process with a medicated nasal spray such as Fluticasone (Flonase) or triamcinolone (Nasacort). If this is not enough, the specialists at can assist with prescription options or comprehensive testing to address the root cause of your symptoms.
