Dr. Dee

Derenda Richardson, ND graduated in 2004 from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, OR, with a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Dee utilizes nutritional counseling, hydrotherapy, herbal medicine, homeopathy, lifestyle counseling and pharmaceuticals where appropriate to create an individualized healing plan for each patient. She is passionate about the naturopathic principles of treating the whole person and addressing the underlying cause of disease. She is a licensed naturopathic physician in Washington state where she has a busy private practice. She practices family medicine as a primary care provider, with a special emphasis on treatment of lyme and other tick borne disease, and chronic fatigue syndrome. Prior to her medical career, Dr. Dee completed a Masters of Education in Community Mental Health Counseling at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 1993. She worked in the mental health field as an individual and group therapist for over 10 years prior to becoming a naturopath. With the heart of an herbalist and mind of a scientist, the study of herbs, nutrition, and biochemistry to promote health has been woven into her training and career.
