🤠🎶Barn Dance Fun at Highland Pines 🎶🤠

Highland Pines residents dusted off their boots, tied up their red bandanas, and hit the floor for a good old-fashioned Senior Barn Dance! 🪩✨

There were root beer & coke floats, homemade cactus and cowboy boot cookies (thank you to our talented activity assistant 🍪👏), and plenty of toe-tappin’ tunes. Some residents even grabbed the mic and sang along with the vocalist! 🎤

One thing’s for sure… our crew sure knew how to do the Boot Scootin’ Boogie! 💃🕺🌵

As we reflect on the events of 9/11, Highland Pines Nursing & Rehab wanted to show appreciation for the everyday heroes who serve and protect our community. ❤️

Candace Read, Community Outreach, and Heidi Downs, Activity Director, delivered snack buckets to all Longview Fire Department stations, Longview Police Department, and the Gregg County Sheriff’s Office.

🍪 Sweet news from Highland Pines! Our amazing Dietary Manager has been keeping everyone smiling with fresh, homemade snickerdoodle cookies. 🥰 Residents, visitors, and employees all get to enjoy a treat — and every time the cookie jar runs low, she’s right there baking up another batch. 👩‍🍳✨

She’s doing an incredible job making things better every day in our dietary department, and we’re so grateful for the love (and sugar!) she puts into her work. 💛

Our skilled nursing and rehabilitation center does more than care for long term residents. Our rehabilitation/nursing team assists in the recovery from surgery, injury or illness. Spacious, private rooms with TV's and phones, 24 hour nursing care + doctor recommended rehabilitation is designed to "Help you get back home."
