Number of Years Teaching/Training: 12 years

Current Classes on the Schedule: Muscle Up Monday - Mondays 8:00 a.m., Focus - Thursdays 8:15 a.m., Punch & Power - Thursdays 9:00a.m.

Personal Training: Currently taking new clients, preferably morning time slots.

Certifications: International Tennis Performance Association: Tennis Performance Trainer, P90X, Insanity, Core de Force, Basic Life Support

Why do I like teaching and training: It gives me great joy to assist people in realizing their fitness goals! Whether it's helping someone gain enough strength to successfully walk up a flight of stairs or coaching members through a workout that they didn't think they were strong enough to do, it is truly rewarding to be a part of their journey.

What are my personal fitness goals: My goal is to show up at the gym and continue to challenge myself through all seasons of life. I love learning new fitness formats and plan to keep my fitness regimen new and exciting.

More about me: I have over 20 years' experience working in the wellness industry. I earned a BS in Sports Management from Bowling Green State University and a MS in Health Promotion from Northwestern State University. My wonderful husband of 28 years and I have been blessed with two, awesome twenty-something year olds and a spoiled fur baby. When I'm not at the gym you will find me at the tennis courts!

Classic Mat Pilates joined our group ex schedule February 2024. Joseph Pilates and his wife Clara began teaching Pilates In New York City in the 1920’s, originally calling it “Contrology.” It was based off a set sequence of 34 traditional Pilates exercises, practiced In the same order every time.

After learning more about it and becoming certified to teach it, Beth began following the concepts in a 45-minute class once a week. As time went on, Beth made some tweaks, found modifications that anyone attending class could master, and added classes to the schedule as more people were wanting to try it.

This month, Beth has changed the name of the class to Pilates Mat and Muscle, highlighting some of those traditional 34 moves and adding in dumbbell exercises and additional core work. Come give it a try Mondays at 10a, Wednesdays at 8a, and Thursdays at 5:00p. You are going to love it!
