The Eastman crew’s bus adventure to Carthage did not end at the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame! We also ventured around the block to visit the beautiful Footprints In The Sand Monument. This moving sculpture depicts Jesus walking alongside an elderly man until the man’s footprints disappear and Jesus carries him the rest of the way. It was such a touching and meaningful experience for our residents. ❤️

The monument was created by sculptor Bobby Leon Harness, who was born in 1933 in Shawnee, Oklahoma and served 4 years in the United States Marine Corps before becoming an award-winning commercial artist for more than 36 years. Inspired by the poem Footprints in the Sand, Bobby brought his vision to life in 2012 through this incredible 14-foot sculpture as a personal testimony of faith and gratitude.

The residents truly loved this trip, and with the beautiful weather and meaningful moments shared together, it was a day to remember! ☀️

The Eastman hit the road for another unforgettable Bus Adventure, this time to the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame & Tex Ritter Museum in Carthage, Texas Main Street! 🎶🤠

From classic country hits to legendary artists, this outing brought back so many special memories for our residents. It was heartwarming to watch everyone stroll down memory lane, sharing stories about their favorite songs, concerts, and musicians along the way. We even discovered some new artists and fun facts we had never heard before!

These moments of connection, laughter, and reminiscing are what make our adventures so meaningful. ❤️

This Memorial Day, we honor and remember the brave men and women who served our country with courage and dedication. Their sacrifice and love for our nation continue to inspire us every day.

Today, we are especially grateful for the freedoms we enjoy and for the heroes and families whose legacy lives on through generations. Wishing everyone a meaningful Memorial Day filled with remembrance, gratitude, and time spent with loved ones. 🇺🇸

The Eastman Lunch Bunch Crew enjoyed a wonderful outing to Gino’s Italian Kitchen in Hallsville, Texas! 🍝🚌

Our residents always look forward to getting out on the town, sharing laughs, making memories, and enjoying a delicious meal together. Gino’s never disappoints — from the warm atmosphere to the fresh and flavorful Italian dishes, it was another fantastic Lunch Bunch adventure! ❤️

These outings are just one of the many ways we stay connected, active, and engaged in the East Texas community.

Peach Cobbler at The Eastman! 🍑🥧

Our residents love spending time in the kitchen, especially when dessert is involved! This week’s baking adventure sparked quite the debate… does peach cobbler need cinnamon or not? 🤔

The opinions were strong, so naturally, we solved it the best way possible — half with cinnamon and half without! Safe to say both versions were a hit because we gobbled it all down before anyone remembered to snap a picture of the finished cobbler! 😋

Now we want to know… are you team cinnamon or no cinnamon on peach cobbler? 👇

Last week at The Eastman, Cinco de Mayo + Happy Hour was one big fiesta! 💃🎉
A huge thank you to Sherry & Oscar for their incredible performance and for bringing so much energy and fun to the celebration. Residents enjoyed delicious chips & dips, refreshing beverages, and even a few festive cocktails! 🍹
There was laughter, dancing, music, and so many wonderful memories made with friends. At The Eastman, it’s moments like these that make our community feel like home. ❤️

We had the best time celebrating our favorite nurse, Becky, this past week at The Eastman! 💙

Becky is truly one of a kind. Her compassion, dedication, and hard work make such a difference in the lives of our residents and staff every single day. And if you ever need a good laugh, she’s always there with a smile and sense of humor to brighten the room!

We are so thankful to have such an incredible nurse as part of The Eastman family. Becky, you are appreciated more than words can say, and we hope your week was just as amazing as you are! ✨

What an amazing turnout for yesterday’s fan drive benefiting the G.L.O.W. Program! ❤️

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out, donated fans, and supported such a wonderful cause. Every donation helps make a difference for those in our community during the hot Texas months ahead.

Guests enjoyed a free hamburger lunch complete with chips, drinks, and cake pops while spending time connecting with so many wonderful people and organizations. We loved seeing local senior living communities, businesses, resident families, home health and hospice partners, and community members all come together for something bigger than ourselves.

Events like this are such a reminder that kindness and community still go a long way. We are so grateful for every single person who contributed, donated, volunteered, or simply showed up to support the cause.

Thank you for helping us spread a little love — one fan at a time. ❤️
