Anyone can or should be able to find an hour for the gym. Not everyone can find the discipline to prep clean fuel at 3am in the break room.

The heavy lifting starts here, long before I ever touch the barbell/dumbbells. If you’re failing in the kitchen, you’re stalling in the gym.

Crunch has the lighting that definitely makes the work look good. But I see too many people spending half their sessions posing in the mirror.

That’s not the mission. At least not mine.

I’m here for the work and the progress. I’ll take a quick progress shot to track the grind, then it’s back to work. Clock in, get the work done, and move on.

Building to a heavy 10 rep max. Goal for the year is definitely 405. Why? Idk, because I think it’d be pretty bad ass for my old ass to do that since I stopped benching after high school and when I got into MMA I was one of those who thought I couldn’t lift weights because I’d pack on size, get slower in the cage, and thought it’d make it that much harder to cut weight. Yea, I was one of them🄓. Don’t judge me. Got back to really incorporating bench about 4 years ago at least once a week but now it’s about 3 times a week. Progress.

"Must be nice..."

I get that a lot lately. But the truth is, the guy in the first clip didn't think it was "nice." He thought it was impossible.

This transformation didn't happen overnight. It's the result of showing up when I was tired, hungry, and discouraged. I wasn’t born this way….I built it.

Stop wishing for it and start working for it.

27 years of showing up since the age of 13. I’ve been the athlete, the underdog, and everything in between. Now, at 40, the ā€œwhyā€ is sitting right next to me. Teaching my son that we don’t limit ourselves—especially not because of a number.

Having trouble finding a reliable source for healthy meal preps? Not enough time in the day in your busy schedule to cook and prep for your week? Well this might just help you out some!

I’m not new to trying pre made meal preps from other people, but I’ve ran in to some issues for the most part. Some were not consistent as far as taste while others weren’t consistent with the macros they claim to have. How did I know? Well, I only figured it out after I got real familiar with weighing out my food myself. Our friend Pamela J. Warren has found one of her many callings. She can throw down in the kitchen! If you want to try some of her meals out just hit her up! You have nothing to lose.
