With 4/20 MONDAY, I wanted to take a minute to share what the date actually is… and why it matters, even if you’ve never purchased a h**p product from us.
4/20 has become a cultural day that celebrates cannabis and h**p. But at its core, it represents something bigger — plant freedom, personal choice, and access to natural alternatives.

I (Lauren) will be in Austin next week for a hearing that we hope will lead to an injunction and help keep h**p accessible and available here in Texas.

This is real, and it directly affects small businesses like ours.

🌿✨ Breaking Barriers in Ohio’s Cannabis Industry ✨🌿

In an industry where diversity is still far too rare, one trailblazing Black woman in Ohio is making history — becoming the only Black woman licensed to grow, dispense, and sell cannabis in the entire state.

Her journey didn’t start with easy access or open doors. It began with determination, grit, and a mission to create space in an industry that has historically excluded Black entrepreneurs — especially Black women.

From navigating strict regulations to building a business from the ground up, she continues to break ceilings, create opportunities, and open pathways for future minority business owners. Her work not only reshapes Ohio’s cannabis landscape but also highlights why representation matters in every industry.

She stands as a reminder that:
💪🏾 Access matters
🏢 Ownership matters
👩🏾‍🌾 Black women belong in every sector — including cannabis
