✨ ALCHEMY TX UPDATE FROM MY HEART ✨

Hey y’all. I’ve been trying to find the right words today but honestly I’m still processing everything.

Yes, the bill passed. Yes, the h**p-killing language was inside the government funding bill. And yes, it’s scary. I won’t lie. What they put in that appropriations act would redefine h**p in a way that wipes out 95 to 99 percent of our entire industry. It’s the same type of language we fought in Texas… just on a federal level now.

But hear me clearly
Alchemy TX is NOT going anywhere.

We are still here
We are still fighting
We are still creating
We are still serving our community
And we are actually in the middle of expanding into our new downtown location

Everything we normally do is still happening. Your favorite drinks your gummies your wellness products your events all of it is still here. We are not shutting down. We are not slowing down.

We now have 365 days to work with policymakers to fix this and every day counts. I will be working directly with our industry groups and legislators to get this right. But I can’t do it alone. We need every single person who cares about this industry or has ever been helped by these products to stay loud and stay involved.

On a personal note I’ve got some health stuff going on right now too so if I’ve seemed quieter than usual that’s why. But don’t worry. When I’m back to 100% y’all already know I’m going to talk about everything. Loudly.

Alchemy TX isn’t done. We’re evolving. We’re expanding. We’ll be growing processing and creating even more products in the future. I’m putting together a little video of our highlights from the last few years because I want everyone to remember what we’ve built together and why we’re fighting for it.

Senate Passed a Total H**p Ban Hidden in the Bill to Reopen the Government

Something huge is happening in Washington D.C. right now — and it could impact every h**p shop, every farmer, every can, and every gummy in the country.

The Senate just passed a bill to reopen the government but hidden inside it is a sneaky little section that would ban h**p products nationwide — the same type of language we fought and defeated here in Texas earlier this year.

Now it’s being pushed at the federal level, and if it becomes law, it would:

Outlaw nearly every h**p beverage and gummy (Drinks, Delta-9, full-spectrum CBD, etc.)

Threaten hundreds of thousands of small-business jobs

Hurt farmers and processors across Texas and the U.S.

The wild part? This h**p ban has nothing to do with reopening the government.
It’s being slipped in by a handful of people trying to push their own agenda, and many Senators and Representatives don’t even realize the devastating impact it would have on real people — like us.

It’s been a minute. Between the ups and downs of Texas politics and me needing a little mental reset, we’ve been quiet. But we’re back—better than ever—and I’ve got some updates, promos, and vibes to share with you.

👉 Texas H**p Law Update
Here’s where we stand:

Regular + Special Sessions: No h**p-specific bills passed.

Governor’s Executive Order: Governor Abbott issued an order calling for an age limit (something we’ve been asking for!) and tasked both the Texas Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) with creating and enforcing new regulations. This means we may see new rules, changes, and opportunities for public testimony—and we’ll let you know how you can get involved.

SB 2024: This bill outlawed all cannabinoid v**e products—Delta-9, CBD, THCA, you name it. If it’s a v**e, it’s no longer legal in Texas. But here’s the good news: flower, pre-rolls, gummies, and beverages are still legal and available at Alchemy TX. That’s always been our focus anyway—fun, convenient, and worry-free h**p experiences.

Coming Up: On Sept 23, TABC will be meeting to discuss emergency regulations. We’ll keep you updated as soon as we know more.

👉 On the Federal Front
The new Farm Bill is also in the works, with lots of conversation around h**p nationally. We’ll keep you posted every step of the way.
