Full Job Description
Periodontic practice with two locations is looking for an outstanding Periodontic Treatment/Insurance Coordinator with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude. The Treatment/Insurance Coordinator plays an integral role in a wide range of office function, and will have the ability to grow in the role and potentially take on managerial duties after an extended period. The growth and speed of added responsibilities will be determined based off past dental office management experience, responsiveness to training, and the discretion of the practice. The full extent of possible responsibilities of the Treatment/Insurance Coordinator will include of the following:
• Management of patient from exam to treatment start
• Presenting treatment plans and financial arrangements to patients.
• Prepares financial arrangements with patients
• Assists doctor, practice and patient with all treatment coordination needs
• Managing dental insurance issues and dental pre-authorizations
• Processing all insurance payments
• Completing statement and daily, monthly closing of accounts
• Managing and processing all patient payments
• Acting as back -up front office representative/customer service agent
• Scheduling patients when needed
• Other duties and tasks, as assigned periodically.
Qualifications
• High school or equivalent (required)
• 1 year of experience in healthcare
• Experience as dental treatment/insurance coordinator (preferred)

• Strong Work Ethics (must be reliable, responsible, honest)
• Available to work in both offices – Longview, WA and Gearhart, OR
• Competency in computer skills required
• Must always represent the practice in a professional, pleasant, and cooperative manner
• Must be flexible and understand that job duties may change from time to time and that this individual may be asked to assist in other areas of the office.
• Must demonstrate good reading comprehension and writing skills by understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents and being able to create necessary workplace written materials.
• Must demonstrate excellent communication skills by talking to others to convey information effectively, and preparing business correspondence.
• Must be able to comfortably and efficiently handle multiple
deadlines and task assignments.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
