Once you’ve noticed your habits, tracked them, and started changing one or two things, the next step is not doing more. It’s choosing the right thing to adjust. Let's PRIORITIZE

1. Are you eating enough?
You can't just not eat. You need energy to complete everyday activities

2. Are you consistent?
Not perfect. Just steady.

3. When are we eating?
Don't let your busyness distract you from eating.

4. Food quality
This matters! You could eat 100 calories of chips or 100 calories of vegetables. Which do you think provides more quantity and quality.

You don’t need to fix everything at once. And you don't need to cut everything out. It's all a matter building the right foundation in creating your new habits.

Now that we've taken time to notice and/or track our habits, the goal isn't to change everything all at once. It's to LOOK for patterns and create NEW habits.

Have you been skipping meals? Snacking when bored? Forget to drink water?
Now, let's focus on just one or two adjustments to your routines. Small adjustments are easier maintain. Remember to utilize SMART goals when choosing a new habit to incorporate. Stay committed. It's okay if you miss once, we're not perfect. Skipping doesn't break a habit, quitting does.
But most importantly, be patient! Forming a new habit takes TIME. The average person needs 6-10 weeks before a habit really sticks.
It's not a sprint, it's a marathon.

Now that we've taken a minute to assess our habits, let's introduce a tool that can help with our nutrition. Nutrition logging!!! This is a great tool to really see with your eyes what your food and liquid intake looks like. It can track your calories, macros, and more. Whether you log everything at the beginning of the day or log as you go, it can be an invaluable tool. It's also important to note: it's not a one size fits all tool. While we have our own branded app, MyFitnessPal has a free version anyone can use. And there's nothing wrong with a good old pen and paper method. Questions on how to track nutrition??? Embrace the idea that "fit" doesn't mean the same thing for everybody. Remember your workout shouldn't be a carbon copy of someone else's workout. And don't be afraid of trying new moves or equipment you've never used before. It's all about YOU and the journey.
