Longwood Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), located in Longwood, Florida, provides outpatient medication-assisted treatment for adults age 18 and older of all genders who are living with opioid use disorder. Medication-assisted treatment, also known as MAT, is an evidence-based form of opioid addiction treatment that combines prescription medication with a counseling element to promote long-term recovery. Research through the years has shown that MAT is a safe and effective way to treat opioid addiction, and it has been used at methadone clinics throughout the United States for multiple decades.
