🗓️ National Assisted Living Week (NALW) 2025 will be held from September 7–13!
The theme is "Ageless Adventure," and it is sponsored by the National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL).
The week is dedicated to honoring the residents, staff, and volunteers in assisted living and showing how these communities provide enriching experiences for seniors and people with disabilities. 🏡 💜

➡️ Embrace the "Ageless Adventure" theme: Communities and individuals can celebrate the adventurous spirit of seniors and the opportunities for growth and discovery in assisted living.
➡️ Host special events: Facilities often use this week to host special events, from parties and lectures to volunteer opportunities, to better acquaint the public with their services.
➡️ Visit residents: Take the opportunity to visit a family member or friend in an assisted living facility. It can help you catch up with them and learn more about their community.

She has been found and is safe.

UPDATE: Annie has been located safe.

Missing Person Alert: The Orlando Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating 80-year-old Annie Hinton.

She was last seen yesterday near 1720 West Washington Street and is believed to be wearing the green dress, pictured in this photo.

Annie has a cognitive condition that may make it difficult for her to find her way home safely. If you have seen Annie or have any information about her whereabouts, please contact the Orlando Police Department immediately.
