Q: Where and how can I donate to Borrowed Hearts?
A: Donations are the heartbeat of Borrowed Hearts. We accept all sizes of clothing, from preemie to 3XL adult, as well as shoes, coats, toys, books, baby gear and more. Every child we serve also receives brand new socks, underwear, and hygiene essentials—these are items we are always in need of.
📍 Our donation bin is located outside our foster closet at 110 NE 2nd St, Washington, IN. It is just down the sidewalk on the south side of the building and is available anytime for drop-offs. If you have a larger donation or would like help with unloading, you can also call 812-642-9104 or message our page.
✨ Fun Fact: We are partially funded through grants, which we have been so grateful to receive. These grants, along with your donations, make it possible to keep serving children and families week after week.
💡 Donation Tip: Please make sure items are clean, in good condition, and not broken. This helps us serve families well and makes shopping in the closet a positive, encouraging experience.
Your donations don’t just fill shelves—they fill lives with comfort, care, and love.
