This month’s Black Moon occurs on August 23, 2025 at 2:06 am PST…as the third New Moon in a season of four, a phenomenon that happens only about once every 33 months. The moon remains hidden from view…its illuminated side facing away from Earth creating a sky of profound darkness that’s especially potent for introspection and renewal.
