Providing hope and healing for adults, children and teens in Lorain County facing depression, anxiety, addiction and other mental health disorders.

The Nord Center has been Lorain County’s leader in mental health services since 1947. The Nord Center works to give clients the backing they need with programs for supportive employment and supportive housing. The Nord Center also works with those facing every day stressors, such as divorce, loss of a loved one and financial difficulties. If you or a loved one is ever in need of immediate assistance please call the Emergency Hotline at 1.800. 888.6161. The Nord Center’s experienced mental health professionals have special expertise in working with those who are:
•Survivors of emotional, physical, and sexual abuse.
•Coping with issues of aging.
•Dealing with chronic pain and chronic disease.
•Members of the African-American and Hispanic communities.
•Perpetrators and survivors of family violence.
•Suffering from both chemical dependency and mental illness.
