After watching the weather forecast for the remainder of the week...
And considering that the steps and ramp at my clinic are still frozen and dangerous....
the prudent decision has been made to close the Raymond F. Schneider Memorial Clinic until Monday
February 22, 2021.

This decision is based on the safety of both patients and staff.

To all the wonderful clients of my Clinic, I would like to clarify misinformation spread by KLFY. In regards to the horrible circumstances surrounding the death of Quawan Charles, his body WAS NOT FOUND AT THE INDICATED PIN DROP shown on a KLFY newscast. In fact,I have been told his body was found much closer to LES (nearly 2 miles away, closer to Loreauville proper).
I have called KLFY and have asked them to clear this up themselves, but a representative simply scoffed. I will take this to the higher ups at KLFY. Please be assured that this young man’s body WAS NOT FOUND in the coulee next to my office.

The Raymond F. Schneider Memorial Clinic welcomes this beautiful young woman, Madi Walet, to our staff. She will be with us for several months and I hope and pray that this experience will help her in her endeavors to fulfill her goal of becoming a RN!

Hello everyone! As we all keep an eye on the weather and the Gulf, please plan ahead for any emergencies. Have plenty of non-perishable foods and water available. Protect yourselves, your families and please don’t forget about your pets.

On another note: emergencies often pop up at the most inconvenient of times. I am currently hospitalized at the Heart Hospital and will have an angiogram done tomorrow,

Happy New Year to each and everyone!

2018 will start out with a blast, an ARTIC blast that is! Please protect your pets, plants, pipes, vehicles. Also please check on any elderly or shut in people that you may know who have little to no help in preparing for the upcoming inclement/freezing weather.

The flu is rampant this season. Please be mindful of how dangerous the flu can be to young children and older adults. The flu, truly, is deadly. Avoid large crowds, if you feel ill, get checked for the flu. And even if this year’s vaccine is not as effective as in the past, 10-20% effectiveness is better than 0% (with is what you get with NO vaccine)!

Our office is closed till Wednesday morning depending on the weather!
