✨ Today at Blue Skies was one of those moments that reminds us why this work matters. ✨

Our Founder, Laura Crawford, joined our Youth Advisory Board (YAB) meeting today and jumped right in—listening, engaging, and participating in our podcast-style discussion, “Yapping with the Youth,” focused on mental health, real-life experiences, and what support actually looks like from a young person’s perspective.

The conversation was honest, thoughtful, and full of insight. Our youth showed up exactly as they are—asking hard questions, sharing openly, and reminding us that their voices deserve space, respect, and action.

Seeing leadership at the table with the youth—not above them—perfectly reflects what Blue Skies stands for: collaboration, authenticity, and building systems with young people, not just for them.

We’re proud of these youth. We’re grateful for leadership that listens. And we’re excited for what’s ahead as these conversations continue to grow into impact. 💙

Our community is coming together to support foster children and at-risk youth by raising funds for a new local facility, and we need help spreading the word.

This community rummage sale is more than bargain shopping—it’s an investment in kids who need stability, safety, and support right here in our area.

We’re looking for a few helping hands to support our upcoming Rummage Sale Prep this Saturday and Sunday from 1:00–4:00 PM.

We need volunteers to help with:
• Organizing items
• General setup and cleanup
• Keeping things running smoothly

This is a great way to support Blue Skies Counseling & Family Services, connect with the community, and make a real impact—every bit of help matters.
