✨Hello Community! This new year has proven to be a very difficult and disheartening time for many, including myself. I hope this message finds you safe and are able to have faith in peace and healing as we begin another year. It’s a time to reflect, set intentions, and embrace the possibilities that lie ahead. I wanted to take a moment to reintroduce myself and offer a few thoughts as we start 2025. I am a Filipino-American and daughter of immigrants. I have been working in the mental health field for over 13 years with experience in community mental health, non-profit organizations, and acute hospital psychiatric care. Upon licensure and having children I found myself suffering with postpartum depression & anxiety which led me to the path of maternal mental health and helping mothers like me. When my oldest child was diagnosed with autism I found myself not only needing to help him, but also wanting to provide the emotional support and resources that families like mine desperately needed but were scarce. And like all couples faced with overwhelming stress and uncertainties my own marriage began to struggle and we sought out couples therapy to reconnect with one another and find comfort and healing within each other.
Utilizing my personal experience, professional training and education I strive to support clients through both the challenges and triumphs they face. Whether you’ve been on this journey for a while or are just beginning, please know that every step you take toward healing is valuable.
