I am going to take some time off of work and travel!
You know what I stress to my clients/students/friends/team/family?

This is a good one, so follow along.

Having Fun! We all need having fun. I am not alone. We all go through a FUN drought.
Check yourself🤦🏽‍♀️ you are all busy, living in this fast pace life, relentless, rapid and non/stop.
We may go through our seasons with more positivity or less positivity at times, but are we actually having fun? Are we pressured to always short-cutting the fun before even absorbing it totally.

Having fun makes you smarter! Having fun releases stresses. It strenghtens deep relations, make you sleep better, increase your productivity.

Reasons we dont fun:
~Guilt ( you think ppl will be judging or you feel you dont deserve it)
~We dont plan for it. We think it should be spontenous. But it is not, so we dont make time for it as adults (Fun Drought)

Fun should be a HUGE PRIORITY
People who are happy do things that make them happy.
They work at things that make them happy. And when you try to do things that make you happy, you are Happy.

So, are you doing anything that’s fun? Are you making it a priority? Or are you having a fun attitude?

You can have fun when you add fun to your day. Little moments of fun added to your day will make IMMENSE differences.

The old version in me would not schedule moments of fun because “life is too serious” but having children who love to have fun as any kids would, by default remind me daily to have fun. I naturally can get back in touch with the inner child in me who is naturally fun and not covered by the adult life. But it takes awareness.

So here is your awareness check-in: Tap into the joy that you have with these questions:

When you were a kid what did you use to do for fun ?

As a kid, what brought you joy ?

What are some things that have always brought smile to you face ?

What do you find funny ? What’s your humour style ?

People whose lives are fun simply do things that are fun on PURPOSE.

Today mark 11 year since my family has commemorated the anniversary since that first brain surgery I had on 7/11/2013.

On this Day Dr. Timothy F. Cloughesy, MD
Neurologist in Los Angeles, California, a renowned Brain Tumor Surgeon in his field, performed a procedure that removed some centimeters long brain tumor that was dangerously swelling my brain causing me massive migraines, petit-mal seizures, and grand-mal seizures.

The entire time (before getting the diagnosis) I was mistaken the symptoms and attributing the headaches, anxiety, panic attack- like symptoms to pre-wedding anxiety and over-exercising !

The incredible thing in this story is I kept the terrifying symptoms a secret for months!

I didnt understand them and I judged myself as abnormal!

I did not ask for help or communicate to anyone about what was happenning, and was trying to deal with “panic attacks” ( which were not that) alone!

I remember the shame I was feeling from the symptoms I was having inside being in -sessions with clients as a novel therapy intern !

I remember the self-judgment I was feeling when appearing at my first teaching job at CSUF; I couldnt wait to dismiss the class and was fearing the “next upcoming panic attack again i mis -diagnosed myself)!

I didnt rule out the medical conditions! Nor looked online to the find the cause on google ..aka the one that talks about Headaches caused from brain tumors

The best lesson I would like to share today is: never EVER miss your ophthalmologist appointment!
(My EYE DOCTOR VISIT Saved me and was a miracle to discover what was happening in the inside🧠)

The next best lesson: check on your health people ! And make it purpose of yours to do so as a HABIT

Travel Story: Tin Anniversary Edition

This week I celebrated my 10th year marriage anniversary!
We chose to resort to a splendid “Glamping” experience in the middle of a hot desert along Joshua Tree-like
vibes and plenty of ammenities you would not find typically when you camp:

~geoDome tent,queen bed, shower, toilet, mini-fridge, cowboy pool, long chairs, and fireplace to name a few~
It was splendid for a gal like me as a first time camper!

The teachings to address are two-fold: Choice/decision & Level of awareness.

Choice: by choosing to be better, aka “making decisions” on the betterment ot your relationship, you are already winning!

When I decided (just a week prior) to select the destination, it was through struggle.
I didnt “know” what I wanted to do for our tin marriage and may have even been lost in my thoughts for a little while.

Process? These Actionnable steps:

🪑Sitting with self, aka turning within.

✍🏻Writing & Asking self:
what do you want?
what do you desire most?

🎤Decide to have “an experience of it”

We all can agree that marriage with kids whether it is 1 year in or 29 years in really can make you adapt and adjust your priorities real quick!

So who needs to ask themselves the right questions: what would i love? What are we in PURSUIT of? What would our relationship 10 years from now “need” and want? (I did, and so grateful I did)!

Many times we are stuck because we are stuck from our own roadblocks!

Those roadblocks most of the time are created by us and our own thinking about things!

If we think about our lives in the same darn ways EVERY SINGLE TIME, we sure will
get the SAME results Every single time.

The perspective shift here is the second lesson of this post: level of awareness!

How often do we sit down and enlarge our level of awareness?

My clients shattered my fortress on the ideas of personal success.

In Q2 and Q3 of 2024, more people with positions as engineers in new tech world of Corporate America sought my services more than ever before.

With that trend, I started to ask myself what is this pattern about?

Why the sudden surge in seeking better WELL - BEING while excelling at their jobs.

So what was happening?
Before anything answered, look at this word as a two words : “ well “ and “ being “.

Now for the quick answer: They assumed a false sense of happiness & success!

I learned with each individuals:
>their jobs or positions were not everything<



And it was NONE of the above!

That “more” that may “look” different for each may be similar for most!

It is a defined “more” in my personal opinion.

The greatest starting point is when you define it, then you can begin to experience the peace of mind, joy in living, and happier states of being!!

It may not look easy, but it it can be simple.

Seeking help instead of going through things “unknown” or “vague” or even “false” to us, is never a bad idea.

As I myself continuously seek help in my personal and professional development, I hope you can do it too!

What is your everyday non -negotiable?

There is one thing I do everyday that helps me stay focused and have an overall wellbeing.

In two to three words, I….

access a personal development video,
a live call,
a recording,
a watch party call,
a podcast video,
a powerful self-recorded video,
a voice Memo,
an activation meditation,
a training recording….

personally,
from all the above, I just follow my intuition & pick ONE Personal Development Resource from my Bag !

It’s a non-negotioable for me.

Of course, I can choose to talk about my other STACKED up daily habits like “working out” and “setting digital boundaries”.

But today, let me focus on Self-development first because reality is…

without the right MINDSET,

you cant do ALL other things as WELL or AT ALL.

So how do you get this need met? I believe it is unfortunate we were not taught to do this growing up… & as adults we struggle prioritizing it our mindsets!

It’s an obligation that I give myself & from that:

🏌🏻Life does not happen to me, I co-create my life
🏌🏻I am the essential, not the incidentel
🏌️‍♂️I have infinite abundance and limitless power

(I came to realize praxis is powerful and that simply means that my thoughts are infused with my behaviours)
