Dr. William Waite earned his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University-Hawaii, and his dental degree from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. Additionally, he completed a general practice residency at the University of Utah Medical Center. Dr. Waite then completed his highly competitive orthodontic specialty residency at Vanderbilt University. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO). In order to become board certified, Dr. Waite passed a written examination which broadly covered many orthodontic topics. In addition, this process required that he present complex clinical cases to board examiners that he treated from start to finish. He successfully completed this rigorous examination process in order to provide the best quality of care to his patient’s. Dr. Waite thoroughly enjoys practicing orthodontics, and stays up to date on all of the current orthodontic techniques. He always surpasses the necessary continuing education requirements, and is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists. Dr. Waite and his wife, Rachel, are the proud parents of 3 children (2 boys, and 1 girl). Outside of orthodontics, his hobbies & interests include: spending time with his family, serving in his church, surfing, golfing, running, and snowboarding. He feels so blessed to be an orthodontist.
