Did you know that the position of the tailbone can affect urinary urgency?
If the tailbone is flexed, it will shorten all of the pelvic floor muscles that attach onto it and create pressure on the pelvic organs (i.e. the bladder!!).
Clinicians… if your patients are reporting urinary urgency, don’t forget to look at the coccyx!
This kind of detailed, whole-body assessment is key to creating real, lasting change for your patients, and that’s exactly what we’ll be diving into in our upcoming course The Pelvic Floor & More: Treatment for Pelvic Pain, happening October 25–26 in Orange County.
💡 Lab-heavy, hands-on, and with a 3:1 student-to-instructor ratio, you’ll get one-on-one mentoring from master clinicians… not just another crowded lecture.
Spots are limited, so if you’re ready to take your treatment to the next level, this course is for you!
