Huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our CE course on restorative solutions for edentulous patients. It was an incredible evening centered around collaboration, learning, and elevating patient care across specialties.

Severe mandibular ridge atrophy → restored with ridge augmentation

This patient presented with significant vertical and horizontal deficiency of the mandible, limiting ideal implant placement.

We performed ridge augmentation using particulate grafting with a Cytoplast membrane to help re-establish both width and height of the ridge.

The most critical step? Tension-free primary closure

That starts with:
• Proper incision design
• Adequate flap reflection
• Periosteal releasing incisions to passively advance the flap

Without this, even the best graft and membrane won’t hold.

Membrane stabilization + passive closure = predictable bone regeneration.

Looking forward to implant placement once healing is complete.

Dr. Youssef is a board-certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon whose reputation for precision, clinical excellence, and truly compassionate patient care makes him an exceptional addition to our team.

A Huntington Beach native, Dr. Youssef returns home to Orange County after an impressive journey that took him across the country. He completed his dental training at UCSF School of Dentistry, where he served as both Student Body President and Class President, earned his MBA, and was inducted into multiple prestigious honor societies for his leadership and academic excellence.

He then went on to train at Montefiore Medical Center in New York City, one of the nation’s premier Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery programs, where he served as Chief Resident. Following residency, he practiced in Santa Barbara and was a lead surgeon at a high-volume full-arch implant center, gaining extensive experience in advanced All-on-X full arch rehabilitation.

Simply put - Dr. Youssef brings a rare combination of elite training, leadership, and world-class surgical experience.

But what truly sets him apart is his ability to make patients feel comfortable, informed, and genuinely cared for every step of the way.
