Looking back on our 50-Year Celebration fills us with so much gratitude. ✨
For over five decades, Los Alamos Visiting Nurse Service has had the privilege of caring for our community—heart, home, and all. This ribbon-cutting event was a joyful moment to pause and honor the journey, the people, and the purpose that keep us going strong.

Seeing this celebration overlayed on the backdrop of the newspaper article about how it all began just makes for a perfect depiction of who we are—rooted in compassion, built on service, and carried forward by the incredible people who make it all possible. 💐

💗 Grief Support Group Starting April 8 💗

Grief is a journey that no one should have to walk alone. Our next six-week Grief Support Group will begin on Tuesday, April 8, and run through May 13. We will meet every Tuesday from 3:00 – 4:30 PM at the Rivera Conference Room, 1627 Central Ave, Los Alamos.

Whether you’ve recently experienced a loss or have been carrying grief for some time, this group offers a safe and compassionate space to share, connect, and heal. 💗

Today, we look back and honor the incredible legacy of Sarah Rochester & Edy Anderson, the visionary founders of Los Alamos Visiting Nurse Service over 50 years ago. These remarkable women laid the foundation for compassionate, community-based care, touching countless lives along the way.

We stand on the shoulders of the many amazing nurses who have carried this mission forward, and we are humbled to continue their legacy. So many lives touched, so many people cared for. 💗

Thank you to Los Alamos and our surrounding communities in the valley and beyond for trusting us with your care for over five decades. We are honored to serve you.
