🤝We want to thank everyone who came out this weekend to celebrate the 23rd annual Hoppin Hounds Biscuit Hunt in supporting the Pets in Need Palo Alto Animal shelter.

🐶The weather was great; we had an awesome turn out with lots of floofy friends and wagging tails along with delicious treats for dogs and humans alike.

📣We want to give a shoutout to everyone who made this event happen from our Mayor Rajiv Bhateja for kicking things off with a great opening speech, to our photographer Malcom Taam for the great shots, to our volunteers with the youth commission who helped keep things moving, to our crew who worked hard to set everything up, and our amazing sponsors who put pets first at Pets In Need , VEG ER for Pets, and Ben's Barketplace MTV with the awesome gift baskets and treats!

😊We couldn't have done it without you guys so thank you!!!

It's that time of the year again, come out and celebrate with us this Saturday, April 4 9:00-10:30 AM

🐰Join us for the 23rd annual Hoppin' Hounds Biscuit Hunt! You and your dog will hunt through Byrne Preserve in search of dog-healthy treats. $10 per dog entry to support the Pets In Need's Palo Alto Animal Shelter.

This event will take place at the Byrne Preserve at Westwind Community Barn located at 27210 Altamont Road, Los Altos Hills

We hope to see you and your furry friends there! 🐕

☀️🚛 Happy Monday! - Special thanks to everyone who showed up to make the Drive Thru Shred event happen we had a great time helping our residents with all their shredding needs.

We had an amazing turn out with over 220 vehicles that rolled through and over 527 boxes and bags worth of papers/documents that got shredded totaling 4.31 tons that filled the shredding truck! 😁

📣 Happy Friday!!! ☀️

Join us tomorrow - Saturday March 21st for the Town of Los Altos Hills residents only "Drive Through Shred Event"

⏰This will take place from 8:00am - 11:00am

🚛The Drive-Thru Shred Event is available to help residents responsibly destroy confidential documents. Residents are invited to bring up to 15 standard file boxes or 15 paper bags of documents to shred. The event is a free service for the residents of Los Altos Hills. Proof of residency will be required to access the event.

1. Remove documents from binders and binder clips as these can damage the equipment.

2. Compile documents into file boxes or paper bags.

3. Place the documents in the trunk of your car for easy handoff at the drive thru.

Credit cards & gift cards (packaged separately), paperclips, staples, and rubber bands are acceptable for shredding.

❌ Unacceptable items include (but not limited to): batteries, matches, electronics, metal, cardboard, binders, binder clips, x-rays, CD’s, DVD’s, plastic sleeves, e-waste, pens, etc. No garbage or non-paper items.

Super Bowl 60 will take place on Sunday, February 8, in Santa Clara. While Los Altos Hills is not a host city, residents may notice increased activity around the region in the days leading up to and following the game.

With visitors traveling throughout Santa Clara County—and often into San Mateo County and San Francisco—there may be heavier traffic on major roadways, busier airports, and occasional transit delays. Areas likely to see increased use include Highways 101 and 280, San José Mineta International Airport, Caltrain, VTA, and other regional transit systems.
