CBD in Acne Research: Breaking Barriers
These two peer-reviewed studies are just a few that highlight the therapeutic potential of CBD in addressing one of the most prevalent skin conditions worldwide: acne.
1️⃣ Olah, A., et al. (2014) – Cannabidiol exerts sebostatic and anti-inflammatory effects on human sebocytes (The Journal of Clinical Investigation).
2️⃣ Blaskovich, M., et al. – The antimicrobial potential of cannabidiol (Communications Biology).
Despite the stigma that remains, we remain steadfast in our belief that CBD may one day be a standard of care, reversing long-standing dogmas in aesthetics and dermatology.
The quotes in this post are derived directly from the cited studies and are not our own claims. We do not claim that acne can be treated by CBD as this has not been reviewed or approved by the FDA.
That said, clinical results over the last 5 years on the safety and effectiveness of CBD—especially in our patent-pending procedure combining CBD with microneedling—have been truly astounding.
We’re proud to share that an IRB-approved study is currently underway at the Kian Aesthetic Institute to further explore these findings.
