I’m sure you’ve read a lot about pre-biotics, pro-biotics, ferments and more by now.
My approach is to add in many sources of fresh, cooked, fermented, pickled, home grown colorful vegetables and low glycemic fruits as possible always rotating mixing it up trying different combinations.
When we put together your eating plan, we can discuss your preferences and customize your likes and help you also expand and discover food groups you may not have in your meals at the moment.

Learned so much from the nutritional habits of the elders in my family. Funny enough it’s very veggie centric omnivore and basic. The gut loves it, there’s always some home made fermented something nearby and tea and maybe dates post meal.
It’s not that these elders do t have any pains or ailments, it’s that they are active physically and mentally well into their last decade and that’s magnificent.
Good lessons to learn, to help all of you interested in getting coached while getting understood, because you are not a formula and your goals and needs are unique.

Do you know your body needs warming and cooling foods depending on a lot of life factors, your gut status, your energy levels etc… it’s helpful to adjust our nutrition uptake to help it thrive not struggle to digest.
It’s been cold- well for us Angelenos- and energy levels lower than normal, digestion mood everything wanting comforting food and simple food. Here I made a pumpkin zucchini cabbage and barley soup with bone broth I made from scratch and stocked -
You don’t have to do this, I just like to know as much as possible what I consume and don’t mind a bit of work to freeze for future use.
It was delicious, drizzled a few drops of chili crunch on top and felt amazing afterwards.
