Teething occurs when the gum line starts to expose the baby’s teeth. This is due to the baby’s teeth growing. Some symptoms to find out if your baby is teething include irritability, not being able to sleep, loss of appetite, swelling or inflammation of the gum, and teeth rubbing. The best way to comfort your baby during their teething phase includes massaging the baby’s gums, using a cold washcloth to soothe the inflammation of the baby’s gums, pacifiers, milk popsicles for refusal to eat, and over-the-counter medications. Also, always seek a dentist for assistance after the baby’s first tooth eruption.

When brushing the teeth, when you rinse your mouth, does warm water or cold water work better?
For people without sensitive teeth, it doesn’t matter if the water is hot or cold, it will function the same way. What really matters is the correct technique for brushing your teeth.
For people with sensitive teeth, it would be much better to use warmer water. The warm water will lessen the pain in the teeth. Coldwater will cause pain to the teeth. This in turn can affect the teeth from being brushed properly.

The first toothpaste was invented by ancient Egyptians. The toothpaste was first formulated around 4 AD. The formula for the toothpaste in 4AD contained a mixture of crushed rock salt, mint, Iris flowers, and pepper. The toothpaste was first utilized by people as early as 5,000 BC. Toothpaste was not as effective back then as compared to the present day. The mixture causes irritation and gum bleeding. The toothpaste did prove. X-rays are scanned from the tip of the roots to the bones underneath the gums. X-ray scans can discover cavity, teeth decay, gum diseases, bone loss, cysts, abscesses, and other masses. X-rays can also discover wisdom teeth that would impact other teeth. It is good to get an X-ray because you might not find what you’re looking for with the naked eye.

Proper blood flow is necessary to regulate oral health. COVID-19 disrupts the blood flow throughout the body. With the disruption of the blood flow through the mouth, the teeth and gums might not receive their nutrients in order to maintain their health. With the lack of blood flow going to the teeth and the gum, people can develop mouth sores. Gingivitis or gum inflammation can occur due to COVID-19.
