Sharp heel pain with your first steps in the morning? 👣💥

Plantar fasciitis is one of the most common causes of heel pain…especially in runners, people on their feet all day, or those wearing unsupportive shoes.

The earlier it’s addressed, the easier it is to manage.

Save this if heel pain has been creeping in, or share it with someone who’s been limping through their mornings.

A damaged hip, up close.

These images show a femoral neck fracture in a hip that was already severely arthritic.

The joint surface is irregular, the bone structure is compromised, and the fracture occurs through bone that no longer has normal strength or shape.

When arthritis and fracture coexist, the problem isn’t just pain 👉🏼 it’s structural failure of the joint.

This is one example of how advanced hip arthritis can present when the bone is no longer able to bear normal load.

After surgery, the unstable bone is removed and the joint is stabilized, restoring alignment and structural support.

Save this for later…it helps to know what damage can look like.

“Bikini incision” means placing the incision in the hip crease to help hide the scar.

Instead of a visible line on the front of the hip, the incision follows the natural crease…so once healed, it’s often far less noticeable.

Save this if you’re learning about hip replacement options.

Before and after imaging of a proximal humerus fracture (broken shoulder).

A fracture near the top of the upper arm bone altered the normal position of the shoulder.

Surgical fixation was used to realign the bone and hold it in place with plate-and-screw hardware so healing could occur in proper alignment.

👉🏼The final image shows the stabilized fracture after fixation.

Were you ever shown your fracture X-rays after surgery?

Doing the same movement over and over is one of the fastest ways athletes end up sidelined.

Cross-training helps spread load across different muscle groups, giving overworked joints and tissues a break while still building strength and endurance. It’s especially helpful for runners, court athletes, and anyone training on hard surfaces.

What you’re seeing is the planning phase of a robotic-assisted total knee replacement using the Stryker Mako system.

This screen shows a 3D model of the patient’s femur and tibia, created from a preoperative CT scan. The blue areas represent the planned placement of the implants, while the green lines help guide alignment and ensure proper orientation relative to the patient’s anatomy.

👉🏼Using this technology, the surgeon can make highly customized adjustments before any bone is cut—optimizing component position, balance, and joint mechanics.

The robotic arm then assists in executing these cuts with sub-millimeter accuracy, enhancing precision, preserving bone, and often improving recovery outcomes. 🎯

The meniscus is a key piece of cartilage that cushions your knee joint. A tear can happen from trauma or degeneration—and it’s one of the most common knee injuries we see.🦵🏼 Swipe left to learn more!

This young patient sustained a hip fracture that went untreated for nearly two years — a missed injury that never healed.

Without access to healthcare or insurance, he never went to the ER. He relied on crutches and kept working, unknowingly walking on a broken hip. Over time, the unhealed fracture led to severe cartilage breakdown and joint collapse — he was essentially left without a functioning hip.

To restore joint function, a porous, press-fit acetabular shell is implanted to recreate the socket and provide stable fixation for the new femoral head.

My Story

At age 17, I underwent the first of 8 surgeries that would be performed on my knee. When I was 21, I was told that I would never be able to run or jump again without significant disability. I left that surgeons office in tears and was emotionally devastated. By the time I was 27, I was told my knee was close to “bone on Bone” and that I needed more surgery. I was driven to search, find, and try anything that worked. My extensive research in non-surgical Regenerative Medicine gave me access to the most advanced and modern treatments. Some failed and some succeeded. By personally experiencing the trials and tribulations of these treatments, I truly have first-hand experience on what works and what doesn’t. Exploring treatments like Stem Cells, PRP, Hyaluronic Acid injections, acupuncture, chiropractic, holistic, etc… I learned that surgery is NOT always the only answer. That through a multi-modal approach, including both traditional and non-traditional methods, I can tackle tough chronic conditions like Osteoarthritis and associated chronic injuries. I am now in my forties and have never been healthier. I’m an avid hiker, biker, and mountaineer. I set high goals for myself and my patients and I am very confident that through my multi-modal approach we can achieve anything.
