🤍When it comes to early language development, not all words carry the same weight.

🤍Instead of focusing on colors, numbers, or shapes (which are often taught too early), prioritize powerful core words that help your toddler actually communicate their needs.
Words like “more,” “help,” “all done,” and “go” open the door to connection and independence.

🤍These are the building blocks for meaningful interaction, not just memorization. 💬

Keep it simple!

One of the best ways to support your child’s language development is by modeling just one step ahead of where they are. If they aren’t using words yet, use simple words and gestures. If they’re speaking in single words, try using 1-2 word phrases. If they’re speaking in short phrases, expand by adding a word or two!

The goal is to make communication feel natural and achievable for them. Try this at home and see how your child responds! 💬
