Pregnancy as we all know is a spiritual, emotional, mental and physical journey. An Expectant Father and Mother's thoughts and emotions, the emotional changes the Fathers witness and the physical/emotional changes the Expectant Mother feels within her body all impact on how she chooses to birth her baby, which will set the tone for their future lives. These sessions help to provide the mother with
a safe place, a haven where she can ask questions, speak freely, and gain advice and support. In private sessions, I offer birth counseling for birth related issues, including preconception and planning your pregnancy, fear in labor, fear of death in labor, birth trauma (yours or your mother's) and postpartum concerns. Phone and Skype sessions are available for those not able to meet in person for a fee. Many women suffer trauma as the result of molestation, r**e, spousal abuse, mistreatment, or a feeling of lack of support by caregivers. Through writing, guided imagery, movement and meditation we can transform those feelings. This is also wonderful for bonding issues, VBAC's and loss of child. This is a Celebration and support for a girl's growing up journey. Every girl can learn to accept the gift that overflows with the joy of being female and teaches her to care for herself as she develops physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I have material that is written in an accessible, supportive voice and mothers can find it enriching as well. How a young brother walks on this planet underneath Father Sun can be tricky, but with loving wisdom inspired from Mother Africa and The Native Americans it can be done. It is possible, you can open up your heart and be a man, you can be kind and compassionate and still be strong as they walk into their sexuality, as they need to know about relationships, the responsibility of intimacy, the rules of getting close and most importantly know when they are ready for this territory.
