This was a more challenging case.

The patient had a previous BBL done years ago, which can sometimes lead to irregular or uneven contours over time.

Earlier in my career, I performed BBL procedures and achieved great initial results. But as I followed patients long-term, I started to notice a pattern.

A significant portion of transferred fat, sometimes 50–80%, can be reabsorbed by the body. And when that happens, it’s not always evenly distributed.

That’s when you can start to see contour irregularities or lumpiness.

For me, that shifted my perspective.

Long-term outcomes matter more than how something looks in the first year.

In this case, the focus was on refining and smoothing the areas to restore a more natural, balanced shape.
