🌸 January is Cervical Health Awareness Month 🌸
This month is a reminder of how powerful prevention and early detection truly are. Cervical dysplasia, caused by HPV, involves changes in cervical cells that are considered pre-cancerous. Fortunately, most resolve on their own but some do not and these can progress to cancer. Dysplasia can be detected early with regular Pap tests and HPV screenings and If persistent, can be treated early to prevent the cervical cancer.
Understanding your results and having a clear care plan creates confidence, not fear. Let this month be a reminder to stay informed, stay proactive, and prioritize your cervical health. 💗
