Here are some more practical tips that can help after you've given birth. Remember you don't have to do it alone and you don't have to do it all.
Have someone help you with house chores and focus on you and the baby.

You don't have to be a perfect mom. Kids just want you to be happy, and in that happiness you spend time with them, listen to how they feel and help process those emotions. Don't be perfect, be present.

Often traditional medicine only takes care of a piece of a woman. Women are whole beings and they need whole-woman care. Part of my job is to be an advocate for you but also to help you be an advocate for yourself.
