The last Saturday of April is dedicated to World Tai Chi and Qigong Day, promoting the disciplines in more than 80 countries since 1999. This year it falls on April 25th. Tai Chi and Qi Qong are both mind-body practices consisting of coordinated body postures, movements, breathing, and meditation that has roots in ancient Chinese medicine, philosophy and martial arts. These practices are widely used for health purposes, as a way to cultivate and balance qi (life energy), so it flows smoothly within us. Scientific research has proved that alpha-theta brain wave produced by mind-body education, such as Tai Chi and Qigong, has the potential to save trillions of dollars in healthcare costs, reduce violence and social issues, and increase global consciousness.

Success in exams isn’t about being the smartest person in the room. It’s about being the most prepared, the most focused, and the most disciplined when it counts. You don’t need to know everything — you just need to know what you studied, and believe it’s enough. Turn off the panic, turn on the plan. Read each question twice, answer what you know first, and don’t let one hard question steal your confidence. You’ve put in the hours. Now let the results catch up to the work. Go in there and prove it to yourself (Words of Wisdom)

Reflections on the great teachings of MLK Jr.
* "Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that."
* "The time is always right to do what is right."
* Everybody can be great because anybody can serve."
* "If you can't fly then run, if you can't run then walk, if you can't walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward."
* "I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear."
* "Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter."
