All are welcome! This is a very casual and fun space to come meet other like-minded individuals and practice your tarot reading. Hope to see you! 👁️

Tarot Club is where tarot readers of all levels can come together in a safe and supportive space to practice reading, connect with community, and geek out about all things tarot.

BYO tarot deck! The Apothika has many amazing decks for sale if you are looking to purchase one that speaks to you (myself and Vicky would be happy and honored to assist you in finding one).

The first 45 minutes will be free-form—get to know people, bring a friend to practice tarot with, etc! I’ll give a little 5 minute intro/talk at the beginning focusing on an interesting aspect of tarot, and the rest of the time is yours! I will be available to answer any questions and to help guide you should you feel “stuck” on a reading.

For the last 15 minutes we will draw numbers to be paired with (hopefully) a stranger to trade readings. Don’t be scared! Reading for strangers is the BEST way to open up and improve your readings rapidly. Not to mention some of the best readings come from a stranger, ESPECIALLY if they’re a beginner! You might even meet a future friend. 💫

Pay what you can, no one turned away for lack of funds. All you are required to bring is an open mind and an open heart. 🧚🏻‍♀️

✨NOW IS THE TIME TO SHINE ✨

With this Leo full moon coupled with the Imbolc holiday we are connecting with our inner light as well as the light that connects us all. 🌕♌️

Today is IMBOLC which marks the halfway point between the winter solstice and spring equinox. Please join us next Sunday, February 8th as we welcome back the returning light with a REIKI SOUNDBATH ✨

REIKI is an ancient healing modality, in which an attuned practitioner channels universal life force energy (the energy that connects and flows through every living thing) through the palms of their hands to a recipient. 🤲

This transmission of energy moves through each chakra, or energy center, to clear energy blocks and promote relaxation, restoration of energy, and self-healing abilities. 💆

While I typically only work with a few private reiki clients, I am excited to offer hands-off (no touching) reiki next SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 8th at the .apothika.annexe during our LIGHT OF WINTER REIKI SOUNDBATH. If you’ve been curious about reiki, it’s a great chance to check it out as we welcome back the returning light. 🌅

♒️ AQUARIUS SEASON ♒️

⭐️♒️🏺Aquarius is the free-thinker of the zodiac.
Known for being intellectual, rebellious, and independent, this sign is represented by the water-bearer. Aquarius is the container that holds water (like an aquarium); rather than being immersed in emotions they tend to analyze them or view them differently than most, which can give the impression of detachment in personal relationships. However, Aquarius is always acting in ways that benefit the greater good of the collective, moving emotion to create change. I always think of this sign as the
“punk” sign, due to its rebellious, activist, humanitarian, and unique nature. ✊🏻

In the foreground of the Star card, we see the water-bearer kneeling to the earth, naked and exposed.
Rather than taking and keeping to herself, she pours her water back into the river with her right hand and waters the earth with her left hand, giving back to the source as well as nurturing her surroundings. There is a large star directly above her, representing inspiration, hope, and the unique aspect of Aquarians who tend to “stand out.” 🌟

This star has 8 points, and interestingly, this card’s
number is 17 (1 + 7 = 8) while it’s opposing sign, Leo,
is associated with the number 8 card of Strength (which also features a lemniscate, or figure 8 symbol within its illustration). This is another reminder of the flow of energy, and we realize that as she empties her water vessels, they become open to receive more, and the flow of the water is endless-she can continue watering, yet there will always be enough for her; what she freely gives will always be returned. 🏺

✨LIGHT OF WINTER REIKI SOUNDBATH ✨

I am so excited collaborate with on the first of many events to be held at .apothika.annexe this year! 🤍

On February 8th, halfway through the winter season, of will be leading us in a SONIC CRYSTAL SOUNDBATH during which of will conduct REIKI HEALING ENERGY to all participants, helping to restore energy and connect with our inner light—just like how the returning daylight is leading us to spring. 🌅
