I recently read Chris Hyams’ announcement on stepping down as CEO of Indeed. What struck me most wasn’t his resume - but his heart. His words reminded me that leadership can still be ethical, compassionate, and imaginative.
As a therapist, narrative designer, and founder of Game Therapy LA, I’ve spent years creating systems for those who often feel left out of the system - especially:
• Neurodivergent adults and youth
• Women, LGBTQIA+ folks, and mothers
• Creatives and dreamers
• Anyone redefining work, purpose, and healing
Right now, we’re at a cultural tipping point. And I believe we need magic, play, and dignity-driven design more than ever. That’s why I’m building something called Starlight Sovereignty - a movement, a mythic school, a way of reclaiming agency through symbolic systems, therapeutic roleplay, and real-world support.
And to anyone else watching the old world shift: you’re not alone. The quest has already begun.
