PARENTING CHILDREN WITH SENSORY PROCESSING DISORDER, AUTISM AND ATTENTION DEFICIT (HYPERACTIVITY) DISORDER: Tailored for families with neurodiverse members, the group will provide education as well as opportunities to share experiences and resources.The aims of the group are to understand neurodivergence, make sense of diagnoses and the path to diagnosis, decrease feelings of overwhelm, assist with treatment planning, discuss strategies for emotional regulation in the home and at school, and develop ways to support you and your child. Guest pediatric specialists will also be included.

Hi! I'd love to invite any parents, therapists or counselors to a FREE monthly conversation about parenting TONIGHT at 8pm-9:30pm PST. I created this to start building a community of parents to have a safe space to talk, learn and to not feel alone. Parents with children of any ages are welcome.
Tonight we will be discussing: Talking to your kids about tough topics and why kids feel they need to lie. I'll present at the top and then I open it up for questions and discussions.
What We Will Tackle
* tools to decrease stress and tension in the home
*sharing strategies with parents who may be struggling to navigate difficult conversations with children whilst preserving & fostering a healthy parent-child relationship.
