For me, it’s shaky voice and leaving early. One remedy I use to calm my voice is to humm when I feel my social anxiety kicking it. It helps relax the voice and people have used humming for centuries to calm down.

What else should people probably not make jokes about?

Obviously, humor and laughing are important. Everyone will have a different opinion on what is “ok” and not ok to make jokes about, but generally this list could potentially be really hurtful to others. It’s almost impossible to know who might be struggling with some of these behind the scenes.

The way I see it, there is a line of humorous intimacy that should be considered in every relationship or environment. For example if you go to a comedy club with your close friends, you might be able to get away with more risqué jokes than if you are at the office with people you just met and work with.

Anyways, always be kind! It’s 100% possible to be funny or make people laugh without potentially hurting others on a deep level with certain jokes 🗣🔥
