Big News!!

While I was certain I didn’t pass, here were are, solid proof that we can do hard things! I cannot thank for being a mentor, a friend and an eating partner on this journey. And special gratitude to Emily , and for their additional support during my clinical hours and exam prep. And an immense amount of gratitude to the families who allowed me to participate in their lactation support as I was working on my clinical hours. This was because of you!

I am so excited to expand my offerings for postpartum families in the new year to include feeding support. Also thrilled to be adding five letter to the end of my name! IBCLC!

A model, not a martyr….

I have been thinking a lot about what my kids see. What they are download subconsciously from our everyday experiences. How I interact with other, y reactions, how I talk about myself. The lengths I am willing to go, the boundaries I hold firm. When I bend. When I break. My resilience. When I choose myself and when I am lost.

I hope they see me as wildly alive… at least most of the time.
