Neck pain is one of the most annoying stiffness we can have. It usually caused by overworked muscle, bar posture at work, wrong techniques in the gym or incorrect sleeping position. 🙍💆🙎
I included some of my favourite stretches in this short clip. There are more on my YouTube channel ⏩ Train ComplEat ⏪ make sure to check those too.
Posture correction can relief most of our unnecessary muscle tensions and make our quality of life so much better.

TECHNIQUE FOR HEADACHES & NECK PAIN 🤕💥

If you spend most of your day working at a COMPUTER, you’ve probably had related headaches & neck pain 🖥

The SUB OCCIPITAL muscles shown here can tighten up with prolong SITTING due to your shoulders & head hunching forward 🦫

Add this technique throughout your work day to help RELIEVE or PREVENT neck pain and headaches ✅

TRY THIS
1️⃣ Apply pressure to the sub occipitals
2️⃣ Move head up and down; through the entire range of motion
3️⃣ Do at least 3 rounds of 30 seconds throughout the day

Low back pain is the most common complaint we treat as physical therapists. It’s also one life annoyance 80% of us may experience at some point… 😑

If I could share just 1️⃣ thing to remember: prevention is easier than rehab!!

Some top tips:
🔺keep moving
🔺lift weights (with good form!)
🔺breathe & relax, it’s important 🙂
🔺stay hydrated, preferably with water
🔺aim for 7-9 hours of sleep/night
🔺work with a PT or trainer if you need more specific guidance 💙

Neck pain is something we see all the time at the clinic.

There are a number of problems that can lead to neck pain such as prolonged looking up and down, sleeping in an awkward position, tension & stress, trauma etc.

Irritation along nerve pathways in the neck can cause pain in the shoulder, head, arm &/or hand. You may feel tingles, numbness in the hands, muscle spasms, sharp pain and even headaches.

Be sure to seek a professional to get an assessment and treatment plan. Ask your doctor and manual therapist.
