Starting April 4th, six Saturdays, two hours, live, together on Zoom. We’ll take a deep dive into the ideas in my book, The Nature Embedded Mind.

This isn’t a lecture. It’s a unique conversation. A practice. A chance to actually live these ideas, not just read them.

Each of us will partner with an other than human study buddy. We learn from each other, human and more-than-humans together. The course culminates with a Nature Therapy experience in the field.

Next week, Yale’s Institute of Sacred Music is hosting a two-day symposium called Healing with More-than-Humans: Environment, Historicities, and Sacred Materialities bringing together anthropologists, healers, dancers, and artists to explore the connections between more-than-human relationships, embodied practice, and well-being in the face of ecological collapse.

Scholars from Harvard, Sapienza, Wesleyan, SUNY. Papers on sacred cosmologies and relational ontologies. Workshops on somatic attunement, storytelling, and the spider dance.
This is the conversation happening at the edges of academia right now

And it’s the same conversation we’re having in the ReRooting cohort not in theory, but in lived practice. In your body. In the trees and the soil and the quiet intelligence of the more-than-human world.
