Amy was diagnosed with metastatic melanoma in 2021.
After immunotherapy, surgeries, and chemotherapy, she lost her hair.. and with it, a part of what felt familiar.
The day she was released from the hospital, Amy walked into Hair With A Cause. She found an OAW wig that looked and felt like her again.. a small but powerful step forward during an overwhelming season.
Fast forward to today.
Amy was ready for her next chapter.
We transformed her OAW wig into post-chemo extensions, allowing her to move forward with her natural regrowth while still feeling confident, supported, and like herself.
In her words: “It makes me forget about being sick.”
And that’s why we do what we do.
At OAW, we meet you where you are.. whether you’re just beginning treatment, in the middle of it, or ready to take your next step after chemo. Because this isn’t about vanity. It's about your identity.
✨ If you’re navigating hair loss from cancer and wondering what your options are, we’re here for you.
