According to Chinese medicine, sugar cravings are a symptom of weak digestion (Spleen Qi deficiency). When the spleen is weak, the body struggles to transform food into energy, leading to fatigue and cravings for quick fuel (like sugar)!
What helps?
Acupuncture and herbs (duh!)
Focus on warm, cooked foods (soups and grains)
Avoid cold/raw/icy foods
