I began to hear their call last night.

My mountains of granite and moss.

Like the lingering sigh of a Grandmother embracing her grandchild, they coo to me.

I dreamt of walking barefoot on leaf litter, wild grasses and stone, greeting the older trees, my friends I have missed so greatly, with a touch and a whisper.

The voices of my mountains echo through the air, calling their daughter home.

Telling me to feel all I feel about leaving the west, but to know that they are waiting for my return.

When I awoke, my wild hair still smelled of damp forest and my feet could still feel the wet and cold ground.

I will miss the west, but I am ready to return to the East.

I began to hear their call last night.

My mountains of granite and moss.

Like the lingering sigh of a Grandmother embracing her grandchild, they coo to me.

Happy Equinox, Astrological New year AND Nowruz (Persian New Year)!

🌞As we begin another journey around the wheel, try and take some time today to reflect where you’ve been and where you intend to go.

🌞Spring equinox is the time of the maiden goddess. A time of great fertility and a time of birth.

🌞Whether you are of reproductive age or not does not matter (nor does it matter if you CHOOSE to reproduce or not), all can celebrate this time.

🌞The energy of the Maiden Goddess reminds us to be playful and invites us to tap into the fertility of the season. This means no more holding your ideas and dreams back!

🌞 Allow your creations to emerge from your womb of creation and be born into the light.

🌞 Although these creations will still need your nurturing and direction, allow them to also grow in ways you couldn’t of even imagined ( aka don’t try to over-direct.)

🌞 Taking time to nurture and celebrate the sacral chakra will also help you with the creations you are attempting to bring to life.

🌞Goddess pose and ecstatic dance are favorites of mine for helping this chakra to attain its desired subtlety and flow.

🌍🌻There’s so much going on in the world right now and that coupled with our personal life and responsibilities can get really overwhelming.

🌝Tonight we will be utilizing energetic medicine and beginner Kundalini breath-work practices to reset our nervous system and unlock the self healing system that already lives within us.
